We are delighted that The Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) has entrusted Bullen Conservation to undertake a programme of urgent repair works to the Church of St John the Evangelist in Lancaster, including roof, masonry, leadwork and joinery repairs. These works are supported by a Heritage at Risk Repair Grant from Historic England that will also enable us to deliver hands on practical training at Historic England’s Heritage Building Skills Summer School, taking place at the church throughout August.
At Bullen Conservation, we believe that true mastery comes from experience and are committed to equipping our team with the skills, knowledge and confidence necessary to excel in their roles. Our approach ensures that our employees not only understand the theory behind their work, but also possess the practical abilities to perform at the highest level. The summer school will also help to tackle the critical shortage in essential skills needed to rescue historic buildings across the country.
