We work with local authorities to develop social value programmes that enable the community to see and understand the work being undertaken and allow visitors to explore heritage building methodology. Our team of building conservation specialists impart their knowledge of materials and building conservation techniques to give a deeper understanding of the intricate methods undertaken that have kept our community buildings standing for centuries. We also have a long-standing history of undertaking volunteering and community work, both independently and as part of wider project teams in the community.
When working with local authorities, our social value objectives include heritage preservation, community engagement and collaboration, skills development and employment opportunities, environmental sustainability and economic regeneration, all of which contribute to enhancing the social value of each project.
Our Local Authority Projects
“The job called for genuine craftsmen capable of working to a highly detailed specification. I had no hesitation in recommending Bullen Conservation.
I knew from experience that they had both the skills and the attitude needed to do a superb job, and they did.”
